The objective of the Project “Drainage Conduit and Processing of the Authorisation for the Emergency Spillway Discharge of the San Andrés EBAR – Waste Water Pumping Station” is to obtain the corresponding authorisation to discharge into the sea, and concession for the occupation of the public land and sea domain as foreseen by the Order dated July 13th 1993, which gives legal status to the Instruction for the project for pipelines for discharge from land into the sea.
For the presentation of this action, priority was given to meeting the Instruction with regards to the point of discharge, which, due to the location close to bathing zones, must simultaneously meet the requirement to be located 200 metres out to sea and to be at a depth of over 2 metres. Also presented as an objective was to avoid the entry of sea water into the Waste Water Pumping Station (an existing problem.)
